The AIME SE-P2 Phonostage is absolutely compatible with both MM and MC cartridges with variable output gains. This means you can get the best volumes out of our record player.
Uncommon Tweakability
The AIME SE-P2 Phono Amp has both MM and MC stages and is compatible with practically all available cartridges on the market from High Output MM to lowest output MC cartridges. SE-P2 has user-selectable gain settings for 40-57 db for MM and gain settings from 51 - 68 db for MC. These settings are easy to select by the user by slotting in the right gain 2 pin jumper available on the circuit. The SE-P2 offers eight gain settings from 51.8 to 68.5db for MC and 40.3 to 57 db for MC and 40.3 to 57db for MM. These are via jumpers while the MM/MC and load sections are accessed via internal dip switches.
